Last week, we introduced you to stylist-turned-jewelry designer Nola Singer. Today, discover her top five vintage spots in the City of Angels.

Nola Singer's Top 5 Vintage Spots in LA

What first attracted us to Nola Singer's jewelry was her use of beautiful, carefully selected vintage items. Be it a necklace adorned with a shoe clip from the 40s or a brooch-turned-bracelet, Singer's work is all one-of-a-kind and absolutely gorgeous.

We asked the designer to spill on her top five favorite vintage spot in LA – and lucky for us, she obliged...

1. The Way We Wore (334 South La Brea Avenue, Los Angeles, 323.937.0878)

"This store is vintage heaven! Doris (the owner) has the most incredible and extensive vintage clothes and accessories collection I have ever seen. Every item in this store is a treasure and amazing find. The vintage clothes, jewelry, shoes, and purses are all in exquisite condition and from almost every time period. The Store is also organized and merchandized in a way that it is not overwhelming and it is fun to shop. Also, Doris and the staff are really nice and help the customers find clothes that accentuate their assets. I found a vintage Gucci dress that I wore to my best friend's wedding. It fit perfectly and was in pristine condition. Every time I wear something that I bought from this store, people stop me and I get so many compliments. This store inspires me and makes me wish I had unlimited funds (and a bigger closet!)."

2. Jet Rag (825 North La Brea Avenue, Los Angeles, 323.939.0528)

"This place has an incredible selection of clothes at reasonable prices. I have found some incredible pieces here including my favorite yellow slip dress with white eyelet trim – it was $8. They also have a great vintage T-shirt collection."

3. Squaresville (1800 North Vermont Avenue, Los Angeles, 323.669.8464)

"I love Squaresville. They always have great vintage pieces - I never leave this store without buying something that I love! Also, their prices are very reasonable."

4. Iguana Vintage (14422 Ventura Boulevard, Sherman Oaks, 818.907.6716)

"I love this vintage store in the valley! You have to dig a lot, but they have great pieces that are reasonably priced. I found my favorite vintage purse at this store – a violet clutch that is very unusual. I bought it for $25 and I won't sell it for any price."

5. Decades Two (8214 Melrose Ave,
Los Angeles, 323.655.1960)

"I often shop at Decades and love the great selection of designer vintage. The prices are a bit high (but well worth it), so most of the time I just browse for fun. This boutique has vintage Chanel, Dior, Vivienne Westwood, YSL, Pucci, etc.  and everything is in really good condition. I bought an incredible vintage Chanel purse at their Chanel Retrospective Party. It's white and black and I feel like it is a piece of art. I bought it for $200, which makes it even more of a find."
