StyledOn or StyledOff: Designer Backpacks
Tap It!

We saw backpacks on the spring runways at Louis Vuitton and Alexander Wang, but this is one trend we're not so sure about it.
Backpacks are often preferred to handbags for carrying heavy loads, but rarely for their fashionable appeal. However, now that they're available in seasonal, logo-heavy prints and with plenty of trendy embellishments from a plethora of designer houses, will these oversized sacks worn on the back take the places of hobos, totes or other satchels? We doubt it and here's why:
1. Backpacks are annoying to wear with anything other than a cotton tee. Just try wearing one with a blazer, silk blouse, a draped dress...nightmare.
2. They were designed for hikers and school children, not for the women who typically wear designer pieces.
3. Backpacks are the black holes of bags: stuff will go in, but it might never come out.
4. Um... they're backpacks–and there are only a handful to choose from.
So guys, what say you: Designer Backpacks = StyledOn or StyledOff?
Will you be wearing one this spring?
