Whether you're starting a new year at school, re-working the old blog, or are simply ready for a fresh start, here's how to get your home office StyledOn now...
Every now and then, we need a clean start - and this is true in our home office as well. And when it comes to the home office, inspiration, such as Stefano Tonchi's office shown above (as shot by The Selby), is an excellent place to start.

Just was with the paired down looks for fall, it is time to add a retro-minimalist twist to our workspaces. Begin with a simple desk –we love the Pratt Desk above at West Elm, $299–and keep all of your clutter well organized in a basic filing cabinet (try CB2, $149 for the white one shown above). The top two drawers can be used to hold everything from your notebooks to pens, camera cords to business cards. Unless you happen to be a tax attorney and are working with 10 high profile clients, you really shouldn't need much more space than one cabinet will allow.
But your space needs a bit of personality as well. Choose a great vase (our favorites often come from Crate & Barrel) for one area of your desk to brighten up the area and fill you with creative energy.

But what flowers to fill that vase with? Well, luck for us, Emily has already provided us with a guide to buying flowers, but you should always check in with your local florist to find out what will last the longest and which are in season. We rely on Larry the Flower Guy.
