Yeah yeah, your dad is the best. But these TV dads are pretty awesome, too.

Our Favorite TV Dads

In honor of Father's Day, we've compiled a list of some kick-ass TV dads. Hot dads, funny dads, and dad-y dads – here are a few of our favorite famous fathers.

Danny Tanner (aka Bob Saget) on Full House

Somehow, we still credit him for the incredible business women and fashionistas that the Olsen Twins have become. Great job, dad.

Coach Eric Taylor (aka Kyle Chandler) on Friday Night Lights

In addition to the fact that Coach Taylor is one of the most realistic dads we've seen on TV, ever, he is also a father figure to the beautiful Julie Taylor, and all the impressionable, gorgeous (dear god, Tim Riggins) young football players he coaches. He's a really good husband, to boot. Great job, Eric.

Sandy Cohen (aka Peter Gallagher) on The O.C.

Sandy always seemed to have the perfect words of advice for quirky Seth Cohen and sideways-talker/brooding-sort-of-orphan Ryan Atwood. And who can forget the bagels?! Oh Sandy... that puppy looks so good on you.

Jim Walsh (aka James Eckhouse) on Beverly Hills 90210

Mr. Walsh was pretty strict with Brandon and Brenda, but he was always understanding when they made mistakes (like the time Brandon took ecstasy, for example). Not only was he solid as a rock, but he was pretty much the only true father figure on the show, and he looked great in a pair of pleated khakis. Bonus: The man behind the dad, James Eckhouse, is real-life father to a hot young star about to blow up on ABC Family's latest, Huge. Zander Eckhouse = babe alert.

All the dads on Modern Family

We're pretty much obsessed with Modern Family here at StyledOn, for lots of obvious reasons. Al Bundy was cool, but Ed O'Neill is much more loveable as Jay, stepfather to Manny and husband to fiery hotness Gloria. Phil is a bumbling nerd-a-tron dreamboat, and Mitchell and Cameron are the hilariously endearing dads to baby Lily (who can forget when they lose her in Hawaii?). Modern Family dads, you've got the right stuff.

Michael Bluth (aka Jason Bateman) on Arrested Development

Michael Bluth was a single (hot) dad extraordinaire. He always kept it together under pressure, and he named his son George Michael for crying out loud! His time on TV was cut all too short, but this is one dad that will remain in our hearts forever.

Who are your favorite TV dads?
