StyledOn is the web’s premier style-centric social network.
In less than one year, it has been named “Best of the Web” by InStyle Magazine and, according to T, The New York Times
Style Magazine, it is “quickly becoming the Facebook for the fashion set.”
Facilitating a true exchange of images and ideas, StyledOn is a platform of social discovery for style-minded individuals
and brands alike. Members share and tag images to build their own personal portfolio and to inspire the discovery in others.
StyledOn attracts a robust international community that can connect with one another based on individual style and preferences.
Join StyledOn now to declare your style! Create a profile, tag inspiring images, and engage with the community. This is a
community made for those who not only want to know about what’s fashionable and fresh, but want to have a say in it as well.
After all, your style is a window into your personality — why not give our world a look inside?
Leora Kadisha Chief Executive Officer & Founder
With a keen sense of style and an innate entrepreneurial spirit, CEO Leora Kadisha launched the style-centric
social network, StyledOn in May of 2010. Inspired by the boom in social networking, largely popularized by
Facebook, alongside the ever-growing influence of international fashion bloggers, Leora saw an opportunity to
bring the two phenomena together and created StyledOn as a unique platform based on the idea of social discovery.
Now an ecosystem of style-minded individuals including students and working professionals alike, as well established
brands and emerging designers, the StyledOn community looks to one another for daily inspiration and collaboration.
Leora holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Boston University and straddles the world of business and fashion
through her experience in the VC arena and in the fashion community. During her free time, she enjoys hopping on local
food tasting circuits, where she can try the best dishes and drinks a city has to offer. Her kryptonite? Shoes and
Häagen-Dazs Mint Chip ice cream.
StyledOn’s founding editor, Casey Kettleson is now our Creative and Editorial Director. Curating the site’s style,
décor and news, she is responsible for maintaining our unique visual appeal and overall creative direction. In addition
to conceptualizing and writing feature stories and interpreting trends, Casey produces, art directs and styles StyledOn’s
photo shoots and various marketing campaigns.
Prior to joining the team, Casey worked professionally in fashion editorial, public relations, marketing, and as a creative
consultant in New York City — she’s been on all sides of the runway — and has developed an in-depth understanding of the
industry.
Although raised in Hawaii, Casey is much more at home shopping for sky-high heels in SoHo’s Prada flagship boutique, and
enjoys a good science fiction read every now and then. She begins each day with a large coffee and a donut and most likely
always will.
Emily Kropp Managing & Community Editor
StyledOn’s Managing and Community Editor, Emily Kropp closely interacts with our members on a daily basis to find out what makes
them tick, what sites and stores they love, and what they’re wearing now. She selects the weekly featured member and conducts
bi-weekly interviews with exceptional bloggers from a rich, global community of style-seekers and fashion lovers, providing
constant inspiration for our readers. Emily also writes feature articles across the spectrum of lifestyle content and keeps
her finger on the pulse of what’s new, now, and StyledOn.
Emily has previously written music reviews, travel items and news stories for Zink Magazine, Social Diva, and Amp Camp among other
publications. A Portland, Oregon native, she is passionate about hip-hop, hi-tops and heels.
With a diverse background, Sherród Faulks brings a multitude of disciplines to the development of StyledOn. He
believes strongly in Agile methodologies and the fusion of well-architected development with strong visual design.
Before joining StyledOn, Sherród worked in business automation, executed redesigns, and created iPhone apps under his
own company.
Printmaking, design patterns, workflow analysis, visual communication and natural language processing are all things
that set Sherród’s heart aflutter, and he infuses a little bit of each into development at StyledOn and
in his personal projects. Sherród is passionate about cooking and photography and has written and produced two
stunning cookbooks.
